Privacy Policy
Effective 8 October 2026
TruthPro (truthpro.net and truthpro.org) is operated by Vaayuu Inc. This page explains what we collect, what becomes public, what stays private, and the choices you have. Questions: contact@truthpro.net.
What we collect
- Your account: email address, username, and a securely hashed password. Your member type (for example Prospector, Documenter or Pro).
- What you record and publish: video and audio, titles, summaries and story text, and the time and precise location of a recording, including the camera's direction when the device reports it.
- What you do as a reader: stories you unlock, likes, comments and video replies, the places, topics and creators you follow, and the communities you join.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We keep a record of transactions and balances; we never see or store your full card number.
- Notifications: if you allow them, a push-notification address for your browser or device, and your email for alerts.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and the label on a link that brought you (for example “from Telegram”), which we use to count which channels work.
Public stories and private stories
Public stories ($ Monetize and Arrived) appear on truthpro.net, in search engines, in our RSS feed and on TruthPro's own social channels. Their Primer shows an approximate location; the exact location is shown to readers who open the full story.
Private stories — Blast, Documenter and PROTECT — are never shown on truthpro.net, never listed, never sent to search engines or social channels, and never sold. They can be seen only through a private link that their owner creates and chooses to send. The owner can replace or withdraw that link at any time.
How we use it
- To run TruthPro: accounts, recording, publishing, playback, payments and support.
- Time-Lock: we compute digital fingerprints of a recording so its time can be proven later. Some fingerprints are written to a public blockchain; they are numbers derived from the recording and contain no video, text, location or personal details.
- To send the alerts you asked for, about places, topics or creators you follow.
- AI features (story writing help, tag suggestions, reader-feedback summaries) run on AI services hosted by Amazon Web Services. Your material is processed to give you the result and is not used to train those providers' models.
- To keep the platform safe, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.
Who processes it for us
We use service providers to run TruthPro: Amazon Web Services (hosting, storage, email and AI), Stripe (payments), Vercel (website hosting), and Mapbox and OpenStreetMap (maps). When a public story is published, TruthPro posts it to our own channels on platforms such as Telegram and Facebook; their own privacy policies apply there.
We do not sell your personal data. We disclose information to others only as described here, with your permission, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it, and deleting it
We keep your account and content while your account is open. You can ask us to delete your account and content by writing to contact@truthpro.net. Some records are kept where the law requires (for example payment records). Copies of a public story that others have already shared on outside platforms are controlled by those platforms, and Time-Lock fingerprints already written to a blockchain cannot be removed, though they contain no personal content.
Your choices
- Turn notifications off in your browser or device, or stop following a place, topic or creator.
- Keep any story private by choosing Blast when you publish, or by being a Documenter.
- Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion: contact@truthpro.net.
Age
TruthPro is for people aged 18 or over, as set out in our Terms of Service.
Changes
When this policy changes we update the date at the top, and for significant changes we will tell you in the app before they apply.
